Google's ChatGPT Rival BARD
Google has officially entered the arena of AI chatbots with the launch of its experimental conversational AI service called Bard . This new AI chatbot is designed to rival ChatGPT , which became a sensation in the world of AI chatbots late last year. Although the two platforms are quite different, ChatGPT posed a threat to Google, and its launch created unease within the company. Bard is powered by the Language Model for Dialogue Applications (LaMDA) that was introduced by Google two years ago at its annual I/O event. The company's CEO, Sundar Pichai, stated in a blog post that the AI model combines the vast knowledge of the world with the power, intelligence, and creativity of its large language models. Bard is initially being made available to trusted testers ahead of a wider public launch in the coming weeks.
